TYPE OF CONTRACT: Part-time contract representing full and/or part-time workload.
AREA OF EXPERTISE: To teach:a) Complementary Drawing 511-DBB-03 (2 sections)
b) Throwing 570-DBB-03 (2 sections)
c) Exhibition Project 511-EP1-AB (1 section)
d) Drawing 2 511-DR2-AB (1 section)
e) Intro to Handbuilding 570-DBA-03 (1 section)QUALIFICATIONS:VISUAL ARTS (510/511)

• Master’s or equivalent* degree in Fine Arts
• Master’s degree in a related field may be considered
• Ability to teach in two or more of the following areas: Drawing, Painting, Sculpture, Printmaking, Photography, Digital Media, Ceramics
• Active professional practice and record of exhibitions required
• Several years related teaching experience at the post-secondary level preferred
• Ability to collaborate within a departmental setting to achieve common objectives
• Willingness to participate in the administrative operation of the department
• Administrative skills an asset
• Excellent English communication skills essential
• Bilingualism (English/French) and ability to teach in French are preferred, as in the context of Bill 96 and the changes to the Charte de la langue française, if there is a need, the candidate must be willing and able to teach in French.

• Equivalent establishes a general comparison between two official education systems
