This national team has earned an exceptional reputation through its successful delivery of multidisciplinary infrastructure projects in Canada.Your Key ResponsibilitiesStructural analysis & design related to bridges and other transportation infrastructure per established codes, standards, drawings and other specificationsCondition evaluation of existing structuresAs a team member, carry out Bridge Inspection and report preparationAs a team member, assists Bridge Condition SurveyUse of structural design tools such as SAP2000, CSI Bridge, SFrame, Midas Civil, AutoCADExpanding responsibilities will be assigned upon demonstrated competence from the successful candidatePrepares/assists in preparing engineering plans, documents, schedules or reports, as assignedPrepares construction cost and life cycle cost estimatesQualificationsYour Capabilities and CredentialsValid driver’s license and access to a vehicleStrong computer skills including experience with Midas Civil, SAP2000 / SFrame / AutoCAD and similar software a definite assetStrong written and verbal communication skillsEducation and ExperienceCivil or Structural Engineering graduate eligible for registration as an EIT or P.Eng.Working both in office and field environmentTypical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time.
