Seabee Gold Operation welcomes applicants from all backgrounds, abilities, and experiences to apply.SSR Mining – Seabee Gold Operation is hiring for a Reliability Advisor.About Your New Role:Reporting to the Superintendent, Maintenance, the Reliability Advisor, will be responsible for implementing a variety of inspections, repairs, risk assessments, and condition-based monitoring programs to ensure the Asset Integrity Plan and Equipment Reliability goals are executed and continually optimized. You will be exposed to many opportunities in both disciplines and will interface closely with all site departments.Your Key Responsibilities:Manage the existing requirements set out in the Asset Integrity Plan including the scope and frequency of inspections on a variety of structural and mechanical assets.Manage, lead, and optimize the condition monitoring programs in place at site. This is primality oil sampling and analysis.Capture routine vibration data on site critical equipment.Manage and liaise with third party contractors and regulators. Monitor the performance of NDE contractors.Help plan, lead, and execute a variety of site operational projects.Extract and analyze operational data, equipment performance history, evaluate production losses, failure rates and maintenance costs to optimize asset availability.Participate in the development and implementation of the asset maintenance strategy that safely achieves production demand while maintaining or reducing maintenance costs.Update, and maintain equipment criticality and other strategic processes and documents.Maintain reporting and record keeping to department policy and standards.Assist in the development and implementation of strategies and tools used to resolve issues arising from the dynamics of an expanding equipment fleet.Review, receive and evaluate inspection and/or condition-based monitoring results and create work requests for both fixed and mobile assets.Ensure all deficiencies are rectified in a suitable timeframe and documentation is filed.Facilitate and support the RCA and FMEA processes.Identify and act on opportunities to coach site personnel on reliability, maintenance and condition monitoring concepts and techniques.Participate and engage in ongoing learning and professional development opportunities.Your Knowledge and Skills:Knowledge of maintenance best practices with respect to predicative, preventative, and condition-based maintenance involving both rotating and stationary assets servicing the mobile and fixed plant maintenance departments.Ability to occasionally work in a physically demanding environment (outdoor readings in middle of winter, climbing stairs, etc.).A focus on continuous improvement; able to work with others to come up with solutions that minimizes operational risk and maximizes asset availability.Strong computer literacy including intermediate level Microsoft Office Suite (required) & Power BI (preferred) and a willingness to learn new computer programs and software.Working knowledge of principles of maintenance planning, scheduling, and coordination.Ability to foster teamwork and collaboration among all employees and exert influence without authority.Excellent oral and written communication skills, attention to detail and problem-solving skills. INIMUMYour Education and Experience:Certified Engineering Technologist (Mechanical, Structural/Civil, preferred; other disciplines considered) or Interprovincial trade certification (Heavy Duty, Mechanic, Mechanic, Industrial preferred, others considered).Demonstrated knowledge of principles of maintenance and reliabilityFive + years of experience working in mining or industrial plant maintenance focused in either Integrity or Reliability (or both)About Our Working Conditions:This position has a schedule of two (2) weeks on, two (2) weeks off at our remote camp in northern Saskatchewan, working 12 -hour days with possibility of unscheduled overtime required on occasion.
