Job Description: Job Description:We are offering an exciting opportunity for Manager – Public in Vancouver, British Columbia. The chosen candidate will be part of a dynamic team, where they will manage a portfolio of corporate and individual clients, oversee accounting staff, and assist in business development. This role is in the Public sector and requires expertise in various accounting software systems.Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of corporate and individual clients for provision of accounting and taxation services.
• Direct, supervise, and oversee the work of accounting staff on client work.
• Review junior staff work, providing constructive feedback and advice.
• Planning the resources for completing client work and ensuring the engagements are completed on time.
• Establish and build strong client relationships through clear and timely communication.
• Assisting Partners in implementing various tax planning strategies or corporate reorganizations for clients
• Assisting Partners in business development and gradually building up his/her own portfolio of private individual and corporate clients.

Requirements:

• CPA
• Speaks Mandarin OR Cantonese
• At least 5 years of public practice experience, of which at least 2 years in manager role
• Private enterprise group experience
• Strong people management, relationship-building and leadership skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
