- Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve computer/network system failures.
- Provide local area network support including administration of user/group accounts, back-up/restorations, security, virus protection, monitoring system resources and other system administration tasks as assigned.
- Installation and configuration of operating systems and software applications.
- Provide computer hardware/software user support.
- Develop and maintain a database of all technical changes made to computer hardware and software applications.
- Provide/arrange computer software training for users.
- Maintain Intranet information and services.
- Maintains an up-to-date inventory of the computer-related equipment and software programs.
- Develops and maintains system and user documentation.
- Maintains a library of all hardware, software and other computer-related resources.
- Sets up computer-related equipment, and performs testing procedures
- Maintain voice mail system.
- Establishes and maintains user accounts and programs.
- Maintains an electronic inventory of all computer hardware, software and all electronic office equipment.
- Participates in orientation and training of new staff.

What must you have?
- College Diploma in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent post-secondary education plus experience
- 3 – 4 years proven experience supporting and configuring standalone and network hardware and software
- Microsoft Certified Professional or equivalent
- Experience preparing for and conducting IS related training
- Expert knowledge of computer hardware and peripherals
- Extensive knowledge and experience in supporting MS Server 2008-2012, LAN and WAN technology
- Vehicle and valid Ontario driver’s license is required.
