• Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve computer/network system failures.
• Provide local area network support including administration of user/group accounts, back-up/restorations, security, virus protection, monitoring system resources and other system administration tasks as assigned.
• Installation and configuration of operating systems and software applications.
• Provide computer hardware/software user support.
• Develop and maintain a database of all technical changes made to computer hardware and software applications.
• Provide/arrange computer software training for users.
• Maintain Intranet information and services.
• Maintains an up-to-date inventory of the computer-related equipment and software programs.
• Develops and maintains system and user documentation.
• Maintains a library of all hardware, software and other computer-related resources.
• Sets up computer-related equipment, and performs testing procedures
• Maintain voice mail system.
• Establishes and maintains user accounts and programs.
• Maintains an electronic inventory of all computer hardware, software and all electronic office equipment.
• Participates in orientation and training of new staff.

What must you have?

• College Diploma in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent post-secondary education plus experience
• 3 – 4 years proven experience supporting and configuring standalone and network hardware and software
• Microsoft Certified Professional or equivalent
• Experience preparing for and conducting IS related training
• Expert knowledge of computer hardware and peripherals
• Extensive knowledge and experience in supporting MS Server 2008-2012, LAN and WAN technology
• Vehicle and valid Ontario driver’s license is required.
