Context:General Project Accountabilities:Ensure all project deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Provide oversight to meet the project’s goals and objectives, focusing on meeting client expectations and achieving optimal outcomes.
Support the decision-making process related to system integration, risk analysis, and interface management. Missions/Main Duties:Leadership and Coordination:
Lead and oversee the system interface management process for the entire project, acting as the primary point of contact.
Manage the system integration framework, ensuring all project interfaces are properly coordinated across different disciplines and delivery models (e.g., DBB, P3, PDB).
Ensure all systems are aligned with project requirements and delivered following the agreed-upon schedules, quality standards, and KPIs.
Develop and manage interface control documents, matrices, and system integration plans to maintain a clear overview of all system interfaces and dependencies.Interface Management:
Manage interface meetings and the interface, ensuring key stakeholders are engaged and all critical milestones are tracked and achieved.
Maintain and resolve open interface issues, following up on action items and promptly addressing them.
Ensure coordination between Early Works, project schedules, and other timelines to meet interface requirements and dependencies.Risk Management and Analysis:
Conduct regular risk analysis to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies proactively.
Collaborate with the project team to identify and implement solutions to minimize system and interface-related risks that could impact project delivery.Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
Work closely with internal and external stakeholders (vendors, TTC, Utilities) to understand their interface processes and ensure smooth team communication and collaboration.
Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure buy-in and alignment on interface management goals.
Serve as a key advisor on contract management, interface-related issues, and system integration requirements.Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
Provide regular updates on interface status, issues, and potential impacts to senior management and key stakeholders.Continuous Improvement:
Encourage feedback and lessons learned to improve system integration and project delivery methodologies.Health, Safety, Sustainability, and Social Responsibility:
Ensure the highest health, safety, and security standards are integrated into all systems and processes.
Promote sustainable practices in the project’s system design and execution, balancing environmental, social, and financial objectives.
