Job Description: Supply Chain Coordinator What will you be doing?
- Order Coordination: Communicate with Project Managers and Service Offices to manage customer orders, including handling escalations.
- Production Planning: Execute short-term production planning, database management, and oversee manufacturing capacity and material flow.
- Process Improvement: Maintain and potentially create methods and practices for effective communication between planning and production teams, including establishing new policies or procedures.
- Resource Management: Optimize the use of resources to meet both short- and long-term goals while managing priorities.
- Reporting: Generate periodic reports for management.
- Delay Monitoring: Track delivery delays, manage internal customer issues, and address backlog activities.
- Collaboration: Participate in meetings with cross-functional manufacturing teams and collaborate with engineering to implement Lean solutions for material flow.
What Do You Need to Bring?
- Education: College diploma (DEC) in engineering, supply chain management, or business administration. Supply chain knowledge is an asset.
- Experience: 3-5 years in supply chain management in a manufacturing environment (preferred).
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with electrical power distribution equipment manufacturing and proficiency in computer applications, especially Excel and Access.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
- Effective problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Strong planning, organizing, and decision-making skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
- Language: Fluent English for collaborating with provincial and international stakeholders.
