As part of the Enbridge’s Demand Side Management (DSM) group, your role will require a balance of technical and interpersonal skillsets coupled with time management to build long-term trust with customers to achieve natural gas usage reduction targets.We provide career growth opportunities, skill development, and competitive benefits including generous time off.Apply now to join our diverse team! #joinourteam*Note: Internally this role is known as Sr Advisor Energy Conservation.What You Will Do:Establish and build customer relationships aimed at building long-term trust and commitment from the customer to achieve natural gas usage reduction targetsAssist customers with the identification, business screening and technical evaluation of potential opportunities to improve operational efficiencies through basic building and thermal system audits in pursuit of natural gas conservationDevelop high-level business justification cases to help customers make decisions to proceed with projects. This may include high level feasibility studies to quantify the costs and benefits of recommended measuresInfluence customers to commit to project implementationPrepare the initial scope-of-project documentation, including product selection and related installation detailsProvide technical assistance and team coordination to customers to ensure successful project implementationWho You AreYou have the following qualifications:Engineering Degree required, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering preferred7+ years of project engineering, consulting, or project management in industrial environmentsProven skills in leading and influencing without explicit authorityProven skills in time managementCurious and eager to learn about industrial facilities and their process operationsProven skills to operate independently but work within a Team of like-minded professionalsEnergy Management certification (such as Certified Energy Manager) is preferredMembership in Professional Engineers of Ontario or similar professional organization is preferredWorking Conditions:This role is a mix of office based (60%) and field based (40%) and requires travelling mainly within Ontario including overnight.
