• Monday – Sunday Availability
• Shifts start as early as 5:00 am and end no later than 5 pm
• Early Mornings, Weekends, and General Holidays Required.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Using manual and electrical processing machines.
• Frying Donuts
• Following recipes and/or product directions.
• Mixing ingredients for cakes, squares, danishes, muffins, and additional items.
• Making and using fondant, icing, and various fillings.
• Decorating cakes, and pastries.
• Following the production schedule set out by management.
• Using convection ovens in a safe manner.
• Interacting with customers in a friendly manner.
• Cleaning and sanitizing the work area.
• Representing ICS both in and out of the store.
• Other duties as required.

QualificationsEducation

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited school system or program is preferred.
• Enrolled in or have an interest in the Baking Apprenticeship Program.

Experience

• Culinary or food industry Experience

Skills and Abilities

• Excellent listening skills and communication skills, both verbally and written.
• Ability to work under pressure while always maintaining a professional image.
• Can work independently with little direct supervision.
• Have a well-balanced concern for both tasks and people.
• Ability to delegate duties and responsibilities.
• Have a genuine concern for the needs of customers.

Working Conditions

• Required at times to work with challenging customers and/or situations.
• Exposed to hot, cold, and dusty environments.
• Regular exposure to flour and other baking ingredients, including nuts.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent motions include bending, twisting, squatting, pushing, pulling, and reaching.
• Includes manual and repetitive tasks.
