Job Description: Job Description:Reporting to the Director, User Enablement & Security, the SharePoint and Power Platform Administrator manages and supports the SharePoint Online environment while leveraging Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) to streamline processes and enhance productivity. This role ensures system performance, security, and compliance, while collaborating with teams to implement effective solutions and improve workflows.Note: This position qualifies for an optional hybrid work schedule after 90 days of onsite work and onboarding. Employee will be subject to the terms of the Flexible Work Policy Agreement.What you’ll doSharePoint Administration:
- Manages and maintains SharePoint Online (Office 365) environment, including site collections, document libraries, lists, and user permissions.
- Ensures security and compliance by setting up proper access controls, managing user roles, and enforcing governance policies.
- Monitors and optimizes performance of SharePoint sites, addressing issues related to speed, accessibility, and functionality.
- Configures and manages SharePoint workflows and automate processes to enhance team productivity.
- Plans, implements, and supports SharePoint upgrades, patches, and service pack installations.
- Troubleshoots and resolve SharePoint issues promptly, ensuring minimal downtime and smooth operation.
- Provides support and training to end-users on SharePoint best practices, usage, and problem resolution.
- Monitors SharePoint site activity and generate reports to assess usage patterns and identify areas for improvement.
- Creates and implement SharePoint archiving policy.
- Consolidates SharePoint site structure as per best practices.
Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI):
- Develops and manages Power Apps solutions to automate business processes and improve workflow efficiency.
- Designs and deploys Power Automate workflows to streamline tasks, reduce manual effort, and improve business operations.
- Creates Power BI reports and dashboards to analyze data and provide insights for decision-making.
- Supports the integration of Power Platform solutions with SharePoint and other enterprise systems.
- Troubleshoots and resolves issues related to Power Platform tools and their integration with SharePoint.
- Provides training and support to business users on leveraging Power Platform tools for process automation and reporting.
Collaboration and Support:
- Collaborates with other IT teams, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into effective SharePoint and Power Platform solutions.
- Assists in the post-migration of data and sites from on-premise SharePoint to SharePoint Online.
- Documenst and maintains best practices, procedures, and configurations for SharePoint and Power Platform solutions.
- Manages user adoption and training initiatives to ensure that employees can effectively utilize SharePoint and Power Platform tools.
- Stays up-to-date with the latest SharePoint and Power Platform features, updates, and trends to recommend new solutions and improvements.
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 5+ years of experience in SharePoint administration (preferably SharePoint Online / Office 365).
- Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, including site collections, content management, permissions, and search configuration.
- Experience with SharePoint Online (O365), including PowerShell scripting for administrative tasks.
- Hands-on experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) in a production environment.
- Proficiency with PowerShell, JSON, and other automation tools.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for SharePoint and Power Platform-related issues.
- Experience managing user permissions and security in a collaborative platform like SharePoint.
- Experience with integration between SharePoint and other systems, such as third-party applications or Microsoft Teams.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.

The estimated salary for this position is $94,000 – $112,800. In determining final salary, Seaspan considers many factors including the successful Candidate’s skillset and experience as well as position location and internal equity.
