We have a bold ambition to eliminate cancer as a cause of death. To achieve this, we have some of the best scientists and clinicians and one of the most diverse portfolios in the industry. We are looking for a passionate internal communications professional to support our Oncology communications and engagement activities. Working closely with other internal communications colleagues, you will help foster engagement and a sense of belonging among the Oncology organization, including identifying opportunities for listening and two-way communication. You will be a core member of the Oncology Corporate Affairs team while collaborating with other teams across AstraZeneca, including the AZ Global Internal Communications team.Accountabilities:
- Drive the implementation of specific internal communications around key engagement activities, with a focus on the Oncology Leadership Summit, business transformation initiatives, simplification and prioritization efforts and learning and development programs
- Lead the creation of inspiring, impactful internal content for Oncology leaders around key Oncology congresses
- Support Oncology engagement activities, e.g. Townhalls, Awards
- Develop robust cascade processes to ensure key information is communicated succinctly and clearly to the organization using a variety of channels
Essential Skills/Experience:
- Prior experience of delivering effective internal communications and engagement
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Strong social and digital skills and knowledge of technology
- Proven teamwork, collaboration and influencing skills
- Proactive mindset with effective interpersonal skills and creative approach – bringing solutions to challenges
- Self-starter with ability to drive projects forward to a successful conclusion in a matrixed organization
