Job Title: Senior Full-Stack Software Developer (.NET and Core)

Job Description: If you are a talented and experienced Senior Full Stack Developer, Aplin has the right opportunity for you! Our Edmonton based client is growing and adding to their team. As a Senior Full-Stack Software Developer (.NET and Core), you will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing scalable and reliable applications across the tech stack. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to build features and ensure seamless performance on both the frontend and backend, using a combination of .NET Core and C# for backend services, React and Tailwind CSS for the frontend, and a mix of IIS and Nginx for web servers. This role offers a unique opportunity to impact a growing suite of applications, from database management to user interface design.Please note: this role is full time in the officeKey Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of full-stack solutions, from backend services to frontend interfaces
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code in .NET Core and .NET Framework
• Collaborate with frontend engineers to build dynamic and responsive user interfaces using React and Tailwind CSS
• Manage and optimize our web servers using IIS and Nginx to ensure high availability and performance
• Implement and integrate Web API 2.0 (Core 5.3.0) services.
• Implement Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions using SAML/OpenId/OAuth/IdP.
• Develop and optimize SQL Server and database queries
• Utilize LinqToSql for data manipulation and MVC (PCS/PLS projects) for application architecture.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to architectural decisions
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner, implementing best practices for scalability and performance

Required Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack development
• Strong proficiency with .NET Core and .NET Framework, using C#
• Proven experience with React and Tailwind CSS for building user interfaces
• Knowledge of web servers, including IIS and Nginx, and server optimization techniques
• Extensive experience with MS SQL and relational database design
• Strong understanding of RESTful services and API design
• Strong understanding of application architecture and design patterns
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work effectively in a team environment

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized applications
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud)
