We provide trade execution, clearing, custody and back-office support services to Canadian-based brokerage firms and the Canadian brokerage arms of U.S.- based firms.For more information about Fidelity Clearing Canada, please visitHow You’ll Make an ImpactAs a key member of the sales team, the Sales Manager partners with the other members of the FCC Sales and Relationship Management team to establish and maintain strong relationships with clients in both the Introducing Broker and Portfolio Management business segments.The Sales Manager will support members of the sales team in engaging clients and prospects to ensure FCC is best positioned to meet the market needs and grow our client base and Assets Under Administration. This role, like other members of the Sales and Relationship Management Team, is responsible for creating and executing strategies to increase business revenue through new client acquisition and developing long term client relationships.Primary responsibilities:1. Drive sales results and market share growth through the support of the teams’ prospecting efforts in both the Introducing Broker and Portfolio Management business segments.Support the sales team in identifying and acquiring new clients for FCC with retail wealth management firms and other acceptable institutions including institutional brokerage firms and omnibus relationship business.Strategize and execute new and creative methods to increase effective and targeted outreach and overall sales within the territory through education, client events and networking.Under the direction of Vice Presidents and Directors of Sales, initiate and support the development of prospect and client relationships through prospecting, lead utilization, networking, booking of meetings, follow-ups with the prospect and within Salesforce, etc.Deliver on required client/prospect requests immediately following each meeting (most often before the end of a business day). These include updates and any business materials to be provided.Coordinate with the FCC Marketing team to build brand awareness through social media, speaking engagements, marketing campaigns and targeted competitor activity.2. Use of Salesforce and other data to determine and support the management of Pipeline Opportunities, frequency of contact, priority activities and accuracy of stage and status.Support assigned Vice Presidents and/or Directors of Sales to ensures that all sales prospect needs are realized, and client interactions are logged correctly and followed up on in a timely manner in alignment with overall sales plans.Work to maintain healthy pipeline of prospects that aligns with FCC target clients and Sales objectives.3. Support assigned Vice Presidents and/or Directors of Sales in such tasks such as Prospect / Client Proposals, Competitive Information Searches, Comparison and Data Mining for clients and prospective clients.Organize and support Prospect and Client Presentations and Proposals.Support and aid assigned Vice Presidents and/or Directors in collecting answers for successful Request for Proposal completion.Follow up with clients after requested information has been generated and provided.Support the accurate and detailed completion of competitor information reviews and comparisons.Create and maintain Prospect and Client Presentation templates and email templates on FCC solutions, products and features to assist in driving activity and sales.4. Existing Client Relationship Management.Supports assigned Vice Presidents and/or Directors of Sales in Client Relationship Management as needed.Work with the Strategic Account Management team to proactively contact existing clients to educate them about FCC’s products and services in order to support their business while increasing the sale of FCC solutions (e.g., FPL).Along with Sales and Strategic Account Management look to improve the adoption rates among existing clients of key FCC Solutions (uDirect, uniFide etc.)5. Work with FCC Sales and Relationship Management teams around Request For Proposal (“RFP”) and Request For Information (“RFI”) from the FCC repository and where associated answers could be used.These data points could be used for answering these documents without having to reach out to relevant subject matter experts.This process will be driven by the VP Sales and Relationship Management of each FCC segment for providing direction and input.6. Provide FCC Client or Prospect marketing support (co-operative marketing, kit creation, ad-hoc marketing initiatives), record and monitor information in Salesforce and other relevant systems.uniFide platform demonstrations will be a key area of focus for this role.Work with the relevant FCC product teams and Sales/Relationship Management side to create demonstration for clients and prospects.What We’re Looking ForExperienceMinimum 3 years of financial services/investment experience with a proven track record of exceeding performance metrics.Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships.EducationUniversity degree in commerce, finance, business or a related field, or equivalent work experience.Completion of CSC/IFIC/CFA/CFP/CIM is an asset.Nice-To-HaveExperience in the brokerage or portfolio management industry with a focus on sales and relationship building is an asset.Experience with Salesforce is an asset.The Expertise You BringSolid understanding of the Canadian investment/wealth management industry including products and services.Excellent verbal and written skills, as well as active listening skills.Strong skills in MS Office and Salesforce.Excellent presentation-building skills and delivery of solutions-based content for clients.Strong research skills, and the ability to analyze information and learn quickly.Ability to multitask and prioritize, organize, and execute sales plans.Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment as well as independently.Strong relationship management skills.Embodying a self-confident, friendly, and pro-active approach.Creative and curious.Results-oriented.Fidelity Canada is an equal opportunity employerFidelity Canada is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
