Job Description: We are offering a long-term, part-time contract employment opportunity for a Receptionist in Toronto, Ontario. Located in our client’s main sales office hub, this role is crucial for maintaining a welcoming and organized environment. As a Receptionist, your responsibilities will revolve around managing the front desk, ensuring smooth communication, and maintaining a high level of service.Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the front desk operation to ensure efficient and smooth operations.

• Answering incoming calls promptly and professionally.

• Distributing day and guest passes to visitors as required.

• Assisting with general ad hoc duties to support the overall operation.

• Greeting and assisting visitors, ensuring a positive first impression.

• Handling courier services efficiently and effectively.

• Utilizing Microsoft Word for various administrative tasks.
• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven work experience as a Receptionist or similar role is necessary.
• Competency in Microsoft Word is mandatory.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
• Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Must have a detail-oriented appearance and a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of office equipment such as printers and fax machines.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods if required.
• Demonstrated customer service skills.
