  • Operating the master control board, iMediaTouch and Burli duringlive, local talk shows,

including controlling miclevels, phone calls, imaging elements, commercials, and all otheraudio sources during the course of a show.

  • Setting up the studio and preparing log for broadcast using iMediaTouch.
  • Collaborating with show producer and host for content.
  • Sourcing and preparing compelling relevant audio for the show to use.
  • Collaborating with other producers on story development and dialogue.
  • Collaborating with the newsroom on breaking news execution.
  • Editing and uploading show audio, features and other programming as needed.
  • Assisting the Production Department with features and production elements.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Skills and experience you will bring:

  • Intermediate to advanced digital audio editing skills.
  • Post-secondary education in radio broadcasting or a related field (graduated or currently

enrolled).

  • Familiarity with the news talk radio format and a desire to work in the radio broadcasting

industry.

  • Knowledge of iMediaTouch, Burli, AdobeAudition, and Avid ProTools.
  • The ability to anticipate and quickly react to an on-air situation.
  • A creative thinker who enhances on-air programming with appropriate music and sound effects

in a timely manner.

  • Above average computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • The ability to multitask, communicate, stay calm and trouble shoot in high pressure & evolving

situations.

  • Friendly positive attitude.
  • Intermediate math skills.
  • A flexible schedule.
