The role is currently an interim replacement for a maternity leave. * Overview

MississaugaMissionAs a Production Coordinator, your mission is to ensure the seamless and efficient operation of our food manufacturing processes. You will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and productivity, contributing to the delivery of exceptional food products to our customers. * Key tasks

• Coordinate and oversee all aspects of production, including but not limited to scheduling, budgeting, SOPs, and resource allocation.
• Support Operational Excellence program, KPI Slides: Data collection and reporting batch yield, variances.
• Coordinate all production related training programs with the relevant functional team leads and ensure that training logs are updated and maintained.
• Communicate with various departments to ensure smooth workflow and resolve any production-related issues.
• Plan production schedule by coordinating with cross functions such as customer service, supply chain Etc…
• Maintain production schedules and track progress to ensure timely delivery of projects and provide daily commentary to the Ops team.
• Assist in the preparation and distribution of production documents, such as Loading sheets, schedules, and reports. Using SAP, PCS7 and MS office.
• Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to secure necessary materials and services.
• Monitor production budgets and expenses and report any discrepancies to management.
• Support the production team with administrative tasks and other duties as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Monitor the Production Communication board and maintain action log
• Lead DOR meeting. Accommodating receiving of bulk ingredients.
• Assist production supervisor and Back up position whenever supervisor on vacation.
• Maintain OEE/Master Data and update reports for visibility.
• Manage the daily time logs for operators in DayForce.
• Help with Food waste Management and improvement projects.

QESH

• Follow Site ( food ) Safety best practices to ensure safe-working for self and to protect the safety of colleagues and customers to demonstrate zero accident/incident behavior
• Ensure own personal hygiene meets the requirements of food industry
• Ensure all contractor control and permit to work systems are adhered to and signed off correctly.

Operational Excellence – Continuous Improvement

• Share and replicate best practice with other team members and colleagues to improve the maintenance plan.
• Active involvement in OpX programs.
• Take the learning from Breakdown reports to improve the Maintenance plan.
• Library of Technical Documents

Team flexibility

• Perform other tasks as required by your Direct Manager to ensure team performance and distribution output is achieved.

VI. Position profile

• Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Production Coordinator or in a similar role within the food manufacturing industry.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in production management software and tools.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and industry standards.
