Job Title: Payroll Clerk

• Immediate temporary Payroll Clerk position
• 6-month term role with the potential to extend
• Onsite position Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:

• Data entry of employee information including payroll and tax information
• Ensure the records are accurate, update existing employee records, and verify information for accuracy
• Handle payroll inquiries and resolve payroll discrepancies
• Update spreadsheets
• Other administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 2 plus years of experience as a Payroll Clerk
• Post-secondary education in Payroll – Payroll Compliance PCP
• A combination of education and experience will be considered
• Proficient with Microsoft Office including MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
• Experience with PeopleSoft is an asset
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy is essential
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
