Job Description: Outside Sales Representative – Permanent – 17793About the OpportunityOur company is seeking a passionate and skilled Outside Sales Representative to join our team. This exciting opportunity is based in Ottawa, ON, and the surrounding area. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving business growth by engaging directly with customers and showcasing our diverse product line.Duties include but are not limited to:

• Solicit orders from established clients and secure new customers by presenting product samples and literature
• Quote prices and prepare detailed estimates for prospective clients
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers while monitoring competitor activities
• Prepare call reports and evaluate potential customers to identify sales opportunities
• Introduce and explain new products, services, and company policies
• Coordinate and resolve customer complaints and demands effectively
• Ensure that customer-facing materials such as display boards and catalogues are up-to-date
• Actively participate in promotional events and trade shows
• Manage an assigned territory by meeting with new and established customers regularly to promote products and achieve sales targets
• Adhere to all company rules, regulations, and policies

About YouThe successful candidate will have the following:

• At least two years of experience in a related field
• Knowledge of construction, roofing, siding, or sheet service center operations
• Sales experience
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients
• Bilingualism (English and French)
• Original and independent thinking to address complex and diverse challenges
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory

About the Job

• Transportation: Company car provided
• Position Type: Full-time
• Salary: $82,000.00 to $90,000.00 annually, plus commission
