The position is primarily focused on facilitating an appropriate and comfortable living environment through housekeeping, laundry, meal planning and preparation, and hand washing dishes. The tasks further extend to include palliative care and supervision of the home. The hired individual would also provide assistance with dressing and grooming and would engage the senior citizen in range of motion exercises for maintaining physical well-being. Applicant must possess strong knowledge or experience in working with conditions such as Diabetes, Dementia, Osteoporosis, Visual Impairment, and Arthritis. Patience, compassion, and understanding toward the senior’s needs are prerequisites for this role. Please note, the work requirement stands at less than 20 hours per week. The schedule is set for the middle of the day, from Monday through Sunday. Therefore, the role suits individuals seeking part-time work. Since certain duties might involve errands out of the house, a valid driver’s license is required. Also, using your automobile will be necessary. The preferred start date is immediate.
