Job Description: Lambert Nemec Group, a leading recruitment firm in Manitoba, has been tasked by a dynamic Winnipeg-based company to recruit a Lead Software Developer .Position Overview
Our client is seeking a Lead Software Developer to join their Winnipeg office with the opportunity to participate in a hybrid work model. Reporting to the Director of IT, this role involves leading the internal teams, overseeing current and future product development, and ensuring the efficiency of data platforms, architecture, and design.Responsibilities

• Manage development teams and activities.
• Mentor team members through code reviews and lead by example.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities and recommend solutions.
• Develop, test, and maintain software applications and databases.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with security and development standards.
• Oversee outsourced development partners, ensuring quality and best practices.
• Manage API integrations and data architecture.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, or Software Development.
• 6+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Proficiency in front-end and back-end development.
• Knowledge of multiple programming languages (C#, .NET, Azure, MS SQL, Python, JavaScript).
• Experience with SQL databases, writing complex queries, and reports.
• Familiarity with Microsoft and Linux OS, data analytics, and visualization software.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
