Job Description: We are recruiting for a contract position as an HR Programs & Operations Partner in Ottawa, Ontario. As an HR Programs & Operations Partner, you will lead the creation, management, and improvement of various HR programs, as well as enhance the employee experience and contribute to data-driven decisions. You’ll also collaborate across teams, prepare and present reports, and assist with training and development initiatives.Responsibilities
- Lead the establishment, implementation, and continuous improvement of HR programs, encompassing areas such as compensation, performance and talent management, succession planning, onboarding, DEI, employee engagement, and wellness initiatives.
- Contribute to innovation and continuous improvement by working closely with the leadership team to brainstorm, design, and launch new initiatives to address key business needs.
- Enhance the employee experience at every stage of their journey with the organization, from onboarding to career pathing, with the aim of fostering growth, retention, and a sense of belonging.
- Utilize engagement surveys, program data, and other key metrics to make data-driven decisions, identify trends and opportunities for improvement, and deliver actionable insights to leadership.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively across teams, preparing and presenting clear and compelling reports and presentations to stakeholders at all levels.
- Work in partnership with Learning & Development teams to identify skills gaps, design targeted training programs, and evaluate their effectiveness to support employee growth.
- Assist with the finalization and implementation of career pathing frameworks to ensure clear paths for employee growth and development, contributing to retention, engagement, and the fostering of a culture of internal mobility.
- Applicant must hold a minimum of 7 years of experience in the field of HR.
- Proficiency in ADP & knowledge of ATS
- Familiarity with Ceridian software is a significant advantage.
- A strong understanding of CRM systems is essential.
- Experience with About Time software is highly desirable.
- Expertise in Benefit Functions is necessary.
- Excellent communication skills are required.
- Compliance knowledge and experience are vital for this position.
