Job Description: Job Description:We are offering a short term contract part time employment opportunity for an HR Generalist in Edmonton, Alberta. You will play a crucial role in our team by managing recruitment processes, administering company benefits, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire recruitment process, including conducting interviews and participating in the final selection of candidates.
- Handle the administration of company benefits, addressing employee queries and managing renewal processes.
- Develop and implement personnel policies and procedures that align with our organizational culture and values.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Facilitate and participate in performance review procedures to ensure consistent employee evaluations.
- Implement and manage employee onboarding and exit interviews to maintain high levels of staff engagement.
- Conduct regular analyses of workforce and payroll activities to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Coordinate and implement employee development plans and training programs to support continuous learning and growth.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in ADP – Financial Services is essential
- Mastery of ADP Workforce Now is required
- Familiarity with ATS – Asynchronous Transfer Mode is desired
- Experience with Ceridian is a must
- Proficiency in using Dayforce is necessary
- Knowledge of Benefit Functions is needed
- Excellent Communication skills are indispensable
- Understanding of Compliance is crucial
- Prior experience in Employee Relations is beneficial
