Job Description: Seeking a compassionate caregiver for a Home Care Aide role, helping to enrich a disabled senior’s life at my home. The job requires careful companionship, support for daily living, and ensuring a dignified, independent atmosphere. Responsibilities include bathing, grooming, dressing assistance, special meal preparations, medication reminders, and light housekeeping. Must be experienced in dementia care, and provide record keeping. Teamwork with other caregivers, healthcare providers and family members is crucial. Experiences in caregiving, related fields or having a CPR/First Aid certification would be advantageous. Should possess strong communication skills, empathy, patience, respect with the client and fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese. The part-time position requires working 20-30 hours weekly, with flexibility for schedule and dress code. Pay ranges between $18-$20 per hour. Secondary school education and a Class 5 license is preferred, but a car is not necessary. Both live-in/live-out arrangements are acceptable.
