Job Description: Are you looking for a rewarding full-time nanny position in Toronto’s west end (Bloor West Village)? Our family is seeking a nurturing and reliable individual to help care for our two toddlers (2 year old boy and 4 year old girl). MOST IMPORTANT: Both my children have multiple severe food allergies, so I’m looking for someone who has experience in that area. You MUST have strong English skills and be able to navigate ingredient lists, understand the risks of cross-contamination, and how to keep them safe when out in public. You will be required to carry a first aid kit with you at all times and be confident administering an epipen if required. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children, possess valid CPR certification, drivers license, and be capable of engaging in stimulating activities to promote our children’s development. Duties will include: – preparing and serving morning/afternoon snack and lunch that are allergy-safe – diaper changing and supporting potty training – light housekeeping (cleaning up after snack/meals, dishes, laundry for the kids, vacuuming up any mess after meal time, keeping surfaces clean and sanitized, tidying toys/crafts etc.). We have a weekly housekeeper who takes care of major cleaning, but you’ll be expected to maintain tidiness throughout the week. – Play: taking the kids to the park/splash pad, games/crafts, visits to the museum/aquarium. We value a lot of outdoor time, and are looking for an active nanny who engages in play, not just supervision from the sidelines. – Learning: encourage skill building (independent dressing and potty skills, learning numbers/letters/phonics, manners and kind words) – picking up and dropping off at preschool programs/kindergarten (fall 2025)/camps etc. – meal prep: During down-time/naps/or when the kids are at preschool programs, you’ll work on making/baking allergy-safe meals/snacks (muffins, granola bars, fritters, batch cooking lunches etc.) We offer an hourly rate of $25.00 (flexible with experience) and a supportive, family-oriented atmosphere.
