Job Description: Job Description:We are in search of a Full-Charge Bookkeeper to join our client’s team in Paris, Ontario. This role is instrumental in managing financial and administrative operations and requires someone with a solid understanding of payroll, billing, budgeting, and financial reporting. This position will also involve assisting with funding applications and allocating resources appropriately. This organization is in the not-for-profit industry.Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the financial and administrative operations, ensuring compliance with provincial regulations
- Manage payroll operations, maintaining accurate records and timely processing
- Oversee billing and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Assist with funding applications, working closely with the provincial and City of Brantford
- Participate in center visits to ensure resource allocation aligns with the organization’s needs
- Recruit and manage records, ensuring all personnel files are up-to-date and accurate
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge
- Conduct cash flow analysis to monitor financial health and inform budgeting decisions
- Use computerized accounting systems and Microsoft Excel to manage financial data
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all transactions are processed accurately and efficiently.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a related role
- Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge and understanding of Accounting Functions
- Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)
- Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Ability to prepare and manage an Annual Budget
- Skills in Cash Flow Analysis
