Job Title: Front Counter Parts Advisor

Job Description: The McManes Automotive Group is seeking a professional, enthusiastic, and experienced Front Counter Parts Advisor to join their team of professionals at Eastside Dodge!As the Front Counter Parts Advisor, you support the identification and coordination of parts to all internal and external customers.Your positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and ability to multi-task will allow you to excel in this role.Benefits:

Responsibilities:

• Aid technicians in determining parts required for repairs
• Assist back counter staff with providing technicians with the necessary parts, ensuring minimal wait time
• Follow all company and manufacturer policies, directives, and procedures
• Read catalogs, microfiche viewers, or computer displays, to determine replacement part stock numbers and prices
• Receive and fill telephone orders for parts
• Examine returned parts for defects, and exchange defective parts or refund money

Requirements:

• High school diploma
• One- or two-years’ experience with automotive parts is an asset
• Basic understanding of automotive industry
• Effective listening and communication skills
• Strong organizational and mathematical ability
• Able to prioritize and multi-task effectively
• Capable of carrying parts up to 100 lbs.
• Computer literate
