- Manage a team while providing supervision, leadership, and support to the Finance Department and all its operations.
- Provide support to teams by assisting with the resolution of escalated issues from customers, agencies, or managers.
- Development and implementation of strategic plans and new initiatives for the organization
- Coordinate with external auditors and ensure that accurate information and reporting is provided.
- Make recommendations for efficiency improvements and implement appropriate solutions.
- Prepare and review cost allocations, and perform regular reviews and adjustments on internal controls, and reporting.
Job Requirements
- CPA designation is required
- Degree/Diploma in Accounting/Finance or related field
- 3+ years of managerial experience
- Experience with a non-for-profit organization and/or public accounting is an asset but not required
