As a member of the Vancouver studio, you will be a part of a team that creates impactful and memorable experiences that will be remembered for a lifetime. We are looking for a designer with interiors technical detailing subject matter expertise who will focus on national and international projects.What You Will DoWorking with Design Director(s) and project team(s), participate in all project phases, including planning and programming, conceptual designs, presentations, schematic design, design development, construction documents and productionCollaborate with design team, clients, consultants, contractors, fabricators, regulatory agencies and other vendors to meet overall project objectivesResolve complex design issues with innovative and practical solutionsProduce graphic presentations, 3D renderings, and construction drawingsAssist in managing client expectations, team communication and consultant coordinationContribute to office activities, initiatives, and learning programContribute to thought leadership, event and network attendanceYour QualificationsAccredited degree in architecture, interior design, or as an architectural technologist required2-5 years of professional commercial architecture and/or interiors experienceProficiency in the use of 2D/3D software, examples Revit, Enscape, AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, Grasshopper, Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator. High levels of work experience in Revit requiredKnowledge of materials, construction techniques, and local BC building codesStrong graphic and visualization skills to communicate design ideasStrong organizations skills and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same timeDemonstrated commitment to sustainability and sustainable building practices; Portfolios should include at least one project (especially built projects with LEED, Living Building Challenge, Passive House, WELL Building Standard, Fitwel, and/or Net Zero Building certification) with this particular focus, which we look forward to discussing during the interviewAll applications must include a portfolio for full consideration.*This is not a remote position.
