Job Description: Our client at is looking for a DA/Rec full-time or a Dental Assistant part-time The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic team player who is dedicated to patient care.POSITION/JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Experienced Level I or II Dental Assistant
• Must have minimum of 1+ year of experience
• Dentrix software (must have dental software experience)
• Scent Free Office

• Tues 8-5
• Wed 8-5
• Thurs 8-5
• Friday 8-3
• Sat (Optional)
• DA
• Tues 8-5

COMPENSATION:

• $TBD depending on experience and performance

JOB OVERVIEW:

• Assisting dentist during dental procedures that features handing instruments and other materials
• Sterilizing instruments
• Assisting dentist with restoration – crowns, bridges, porcelain veneers, fillings, extractions, root canals, some surgery
• Placement and removal of rubber dams
• Taking x-rays of patients’ teeth and exposing dental diagnostic x-rays
• Using suction and swabs to keep patients’ mouths clear and dry during procedures
• Taking preliminary impressions of teeth for study models
• Applying pit and fissure sealants and topical anesthetics
• Booking and confirming patients using the Dentrix sofware system
• Dealing with insurance companies and submitting predeterminations
• Collecting payments
