The following position is open to anyone residing in Winnipeg and surrounding areas with valid work authorization.POSITION SUMMARYThe Client Services Document Analyst provides support to our Group Sales team by participating in the development, creation, production and delivery of all client and member documents including the agreements, amendments, booklets, online product summaries and promotional materials.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Proofreads, edits and maintains agreements, amendments, booklets and other documentation for group products to ensure all materials are accurate and meet established standards.
- Acts as the primary contact on document requests and reviews to identify specific needs, errors, and omissions. Obtains clarification on contractual intent where necessary.
- Processes Group and Change used to onboard new clients or changes to existing clients. Processes signed agreements, amendments, client terminations and transfers. Maintains Group Activity database.
- Assists with researching and developing recommendations for:
- New agreement, amendment, and booklet wordings for group products.
- Resolution of benefit clarification issues.
- Workflow and business process improvements.
- Participates in product development initiatives as required and assists with the introduction of new products and product modifications.
- Assists in the development of and maintenance of group product agreements, booklets, brochures and all necessary promotional materials, as required.
- Acts as liaison with other areas of the company to develop and maintain effective internal relationships.
- Participates in special corporate projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
- Dedicated to the principles of exceptional service; committed to responding to, anticipating, and addressing customer needs, for both internal and external customers.
- Post secondary degree in Commerce, Business Administration or equivalent an asset. An equivalent combination of education and 2-5 years’ experience in the insurance industry will be considered.
- Possesses, or able to develop thorough experience, an understanding of industry principles, policies and procedures pertaining to Blue Cross Life and Group Underwriting. Must be able to apply this understanding to issues and complexities arising in execution of duties and special assignments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail and a demonstrated high degree of accuracy. Enhanced copy-editing and proof-reading skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels within the organization in a team environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
- Self-directed, with exceptional organizational skills and a proven record of managing and prioritizing multiple tasks within varied and dynamic timelines on an ongoing basis.
- Thorough working knowledge of office productivity tools including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Lotus Notes.
- Capable of completing industry education programs entailing a self-directed study and the writing of graded examinations. Specific programs include but are not limited to LOMA, CEBS and ICA. Enrollment in, and completion of, such courses will be encouraged.
