For 3 and a half-year-old grandson. while His mother visits family overseas. Temporary position now, could become a permanent position if we all get along . You must be able to take full charge of the child 24/7 except day off. Must be able to manage the child totally plus you must be able to cook for him and his father and feed child too . Give a bath, read stories put him to bed. If needed I may ask you to sleep with him or close to him. look after him if he is sick or has a cold or anything. You need to be a good communicator texting and sending pics on whats app as needed. The child is sweet-natured. but active and a picky eater. We need a patient, and energetic individual to care for him. apartment is at arbutus and 33. This could be the time to train him a bit into a good routine. He goes to daycare at UBC on certain days, so we can adjust the hours and days you work to give you a break but Ill need you to be available 7 days a week. Also need to do housekeeping, running errands, grocery shopping, preparing meals, doing laundry (child’s and family’s), You will also need to help pack his bag and small lunchbox for daycare, in bathing, dressing, and taking care of the child in general. schedule is mornings, afternoons, evenings, and nights. A driving license is an asset but not required own car an asset but not required This can become a full time position Suits a nanny who has done this before with overseas experience maybe, who can sleep with the boy if needed, interviewing from Tuesday by phone first, job start Dec 21st 2024. he needs a schedule, tutoring, maybe and to learn to be a bit self sufficient and play by himself sometimes not always with an adult.. he’s warm, good natured, really good temperament, no tantrums or anything and very smart . he’s a poor sleeper and very picky eater. He’s been a bit spoiled by everyone and the centre of attention . just being honest therefore need an experienced nanny who can guide him, and set a schedule and stick to it, enforce some tidying up and quiet time reading or ?/( not in front of the TV) Someone who can be creative, teach some crafts maybe use flash cards, teach him to colour, do all things carefully etc.I am not expecting miracles but just good behaviour and good role modelling. and some sedentary play. Pay is fixed at 17.50 per hour. Job will likely will be for the long term and I think will be very rewarding because he’s really bright and responsive.
