Job Description: Job Description:In anticipation of future needs Robert Half is currently seeking Accounts Payable Clerks throughout the Calgary region.As an Accounts Payable Clerk your day to day responsibilities may include, but not be limited to:· Process and review invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies.· Execute payment transactions, including checks, ACH transfers, and electronic payments.· Reconcile payment discrepancies and resolve any issues with vendors.· Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records and payment logs.· Assist in preparing and processing month-end and year-end financial reports.· Verify and approve employee expense reimbursements.· Support the accounts payable team with ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed.· Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments to address payment-related inquiries.· Ad-hoc duties as requested.Requirements:A successful Accounts Payable Clerk will possess the following:· Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounts payable or similar role.· Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools.· Experience with SAP and other major accounting software.· Strong attention to detail and accuracy in payment processing.· Familiarity with accounting software and financial systems.· Excellent organizational and time-management skills.· Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.· Available to start immediatelyTo be considered for this contract role, click the “Apply Now!” link or by using the Robert Half mobile app. Download it on the App Store or get it on Google Play today!Reference Number: 05000-9504071720Robert Half would like to thank all applicants for their expressed interest however, only those candidates identified for interview will be contacted.be contacted.
