We are a service-based organization made up of great people who work hard to get the job done and deliver excellence in the communities where we work and live.Description:ATCO Frontec is seeking 3rd Year Apprentice Plumber to join our ATCO Facilities Solutions team in Calgary AB, working on a project with several properties across the Calgary area.The Apprentice Plumber is responsible for preventative and corrective maintenance, inspections, modifications, and installation/dismantling of plumbing systems. The successful candidate must be willing to work after hours and on weekends as required. Tools, uniforms, PPE, work cellphone, and a company vehicle will be provided for work duties.Responsibilities:

• Conduct timely inspections, testing, and accurate reporting of equipment defects and deficiencies
• Replace toilets, bathroom and kitchen sinks, and bathtubs
• Utilize power auger for toilet, bathtub, and main lines
• Replace hot water tanks and furnaces (40,000 & 60,000 BTU)
• Ensure all installations, repairs, and maintenance are properly sized, aligned, supported, and graded
• Guarantee all installations, repairs, and maintenance meet the requirements of the appropriate codes, as well as environmental protection requirements

Qualifications:

• 3rd year Plumber Apprenticeship currently active
• Class 5 license and clean drivers abstract is required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Able to read drawings and blueprints
• Ability to build and work in a team environment is crucial along with a strong commitment to personal and team safety
