Benefits n/aDetailsJob Description :Our client has an immediate need for a Bilingual Deskside Analyst in Ottawa Must Have Primary Skills :Required Experience

  • Fluency in both French and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
  • 1-2 years of prior experience in Deskside Support, providing hands-on technical assistance in a professional environment.

Required Skills

  • Diploma or Certificate in Information Technology or a High School diploma with significant, relevant experience in a deskside support role.
  • CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent practical experience in IT support.
  • Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills, with a keen ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Dependable and reliable, consistently meeting deadlines and maintaining a high standard of service.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with a strong focus on maintaining accurate documentation and performing thorough work.
  • Basic proficiency in supporting a wide range of devices, including desktops, laptops, printers, tablets, mobile phones, and related computer peripherals.
  • Clean criminal record and driving abstract required for compliance.

Nice To Have Secondary Skills :

  • Meeting Room support experience would be an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Teams and Teams Telephony would be a significant asset.

Proven Experience In :Description of Duties

  • This role will be structured after our “Hub and Spoke” model where they will primarily be based onsite, but they will also support nearby offices (which means some travel will be required).
  • Looking for strong experience with hardware and desktop software applications with the following key responsibilities.
  • Resource must have own mode of transportation to travel
  • Experience providing desktop hardware and software support to users
  • Experience administrating/supporting computer end-user devices in a large, complex environment supporting device hardware (e.g. PCs and Mac’s, mobile devices, and peripherals), operating systems, device imaging application installation, deployment and security tools.
  • Experience troubleshooting and managing file and print services
  • The ability to communicate effectively and professionally including producing written technical material that is concise, grammatically correct, and structured to communicate the intended message with high efficacy.
  • Strong verbal and written skills in English and French is required.
