• Competitive wages – 2nd Year: $29.40 per hour, 3rd Year: $33.60 per hour

Key ResponsibilitiesThe Apprentice Mechanic works an 8 or 10 hour day or afternoon shift, with some overtime as required. This position is not confined to shop activities as the Mechanic may be required to perform field work on down buses in town limits and rural areas.

• Ongoing maintenance/repair of buses
• Respond to breakdowns
• Spring and winter maintenance

Requirements

• Apprentice Automotive or Heavy Duty Mechanic (2nd or 3rd Year)
• Clear criminal record
• Own hand tools
• Computer proficiency
