- Provide strong oral advocacy and troubleshooting support to clients.
- Stay updated on changes in immigration laws and regulations.
- Prepare presentations for corporate clients and ensure legal precedents are accurate and current.
- Engage with clients via telephone, meetings, and email correspondence, proposing effective strategies and action plans.
- Actively participate in billing and maintain a high standard of professionalism and ethics.
Qualifications:
- Law degree and Canadian Call to the Bar with 6 to 8 years of immigration law experience.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with a focus on problem-solving.
- Superior legal research and writing abilities.
- Experience in NAFTA US immigration is a plus.
