Job Description: Job Description:We are in search of a Sr. Accountant for our operations. As a Sr. Accountant, you will be entrusted with the preparation and review of financial statements, analysis of balance sheets, and providing valuable insights to management. This role also involves ensuring the accuracy of the General Ledger and providing guidance to entry level accounting staff.Responsibilities

• Analyzing and preparing balance sheet reconciliation for critical accounts each month
• Regularly preparing and reviewing financial statements in line with accounting standards and regulations
• Providing insights and recommendations to management through variance analysis and identification of financial trends
• Collaborating with various departments to gather financial information for consistent reporting
• Monitoring and analyzing key financial metrics and identifying opportunities for improvement and cost savings
• Ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the General Ledger across multiple entities
• Assisting in the development and implementation of financial reporting policies, procedures, and controls to ensure data integrity
• Preparing and analyzing audit schedules and coordinating with external auditors during the audit process
• Preparing government filings to meet all statutory requirements and tax liabilities
• Driving process improvements by identifying inefficiencies and implementing solutions to enhance financial reporting and analysis
• Assisting in cash flow forecasting to ensure the company’s liquidity needs are met
• Providing guidance and mentorship to entry level accounting staff to foster their development and ensure accurate financial reporting.

Requirements:

• Demonstrable proficiency in Account Reconciliation
• Proven experience with Balance Sheet Reconciliation
• Proficiency in performing Bank Reconciliations
• Expertise in managing the General Ledger
• Ability to prepare and review Journal Entries
• Advanced knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience in handling Month End Close procedures
