Job Description: Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPosition Type: Full TimeLocation: Remote, CanadaAbout the Role:We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Java Developer with hands-on experience integrating the Braze platform. This is a fully remote position, open to candidates across Canada, with working hours aligned to the Eastern Time Zone (EST). You will play a key role in developing innovative software solutions for high-profile North American clients, enhancing both web and mobile experiences.If you’re a creative, self-motivated individual who thrives on solving complex problems, we’d love to hear from you.Responsibilities
- Collaborate proactively with project teams to guide products through the development lifecycle.
- Contribute to architecture, coding, and development with a focus on performance and scalability.
- Ensure code quality through reviews and adherence to established patterns and governance.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring junior engineers, and communicating decisions clearly to the global team.
- Optimize and refactor existing codebases to ensure continuous improvement.
- Take ownership of releases and contribute to the support and enhancement of live applications.
RequirementsBasic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Java development experience.
- Hands-on experience integrating Braze.
- Proficiency in SQL (2+ years).
- Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript (2+ years).
- 3+ years working with AWS Cloud environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with enterprise-level, large-scale data-driven omnichannel solutions.
- Familiarity with data analytics, data lakes, and warehouses like Redshift.
- Exposure to Python for scripting or automation.
- Bonus if they worked at Amazon (or any of its departments) in the past
