Job Title: Security Solutions Architect

Job Description: The Security Solutions Architect will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing advanced Microsoft security solutions for our clients. This role involves a blend of go-to-market solution creation, pre-sales activities, as well as direct involvement in project delivery. The candidate will work closely with AMTRA’s clients to enhance their security posture over time and from time to time provide escalated support for complex operational security issues.Key Responsibilities:Solution Creation and Development:Design and develop Microsoft based security solutions tailored to client needs.Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to create relevant market offerings.Stay updated with the latest Microsoft security technologies and trends to ensure thought and strategy leadership is provided to all clients.Pre-Sales:Engage with clients and prospects to understand their security requirements and propose suitable solutions.Assist in the preparation of Proposals, Statements of Work (SOW), and other pre-sales documentation.Assist team members in overcoming obstacles to achieve sales goals.Project Delivery:Lead the architectural design and implementation of security solutions, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope. This is both ‘hands on’ work as well as guiding others.Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project execution and a happy client.Provide technical guidance and oversight throughout the project lifecycle.Operational Security Support:Act as an escalation point for complex security issues, providing expert-level support and resolution.Work with clients to strategically, as well as operationally improve their Secure Score over time.Develop and implement strategies to mitigate security risks and enhance operational security for our clients and prospects.Client / Microsoft Engagement and Advisory:Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted security advisor.Conduct regular security assessments and reviews to guide clients in improving their security posture.Build and maintain strong relationships with Microsoft to enhance AMTRA’s opportunities within that ecosystem.Qualifications:-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.-Minimum of 8 years of experience in security architecture, solution design, and implementation.-Strong knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and best practices (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, SOC2).-Proficiency in security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, SIEM, and endpoint protection.-Knowledge and working experience with Microsoft security solutions including Sentinel, Defender XDR, Entra, Purview and Intune. Security -Copilot is an asset.-Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.-Proven experience in writing Statements of Work (SOW) and proposals.-Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex security issues under pressure.-Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., AZ-500, SC-100-400) are highly desirable.
