Job Description: Job Description:Robert Half has partnered with a well established company that is looking for a highly-skilled Procurement and Inventory Manager with a speciality in the Plumbing and HVAC industry. We are looking for a well-organized and experienced individual who can effectively guide purchasing efforts, maintain inventory, and plan for future demand. If you are passionate about supply chain management and have an in-depth knowledge of the plumbing and HVAC industry, this role might be an excellent fit!Responsibilities:

• Oversee the purchasing of technical goods and services specific to the Plumbing and HVAC industry.
• Develop and execute an overall procurement strategy.
• Conduct and manage inventory audits to ensure accuracy and timely execution.
• Identify new potential suppliers, screen them, and negotiate terms of contract.
• Maintain and update supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.
• Forecast upcoming demand and manage reaction strategies for potential changes in product demand.

The role is office based (in Sherwood Park) with flexible start and end times (40 hours per week). In addition to a competitive salary, a full benefits package and RRSP matching program are offered. • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement and inventory management, with a strong preference for HVAC and plumbing industry expertise.
• Experience with Sage Intacct or similar accounting and inventory management platforms is required.
• Experience in managing imports and international supply chain logistics is a significant asset.
