Job Description: Job Description:THE ROLE:Our client requires the support of a passionate, driven Controller for a 5-month engagement with a private company.Typical duties include:

• Provide assistance and support for the upcoming year-end audit
• Review and oversee payroll processes
• Support system implementation, including testing a new tool and facilitating the transition
• Review month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, account balance reconciliations, and variance analysis

ABOUT YOU:You are an accomplished professional with over three years of experience as a Controller in a private company. Your wealth of experience includes managing payroll accounting and driving process improvements. Your proficiency in Microsoft Excel equips you to perform tasks efficiently and effectively. You are passionate and driven in your field with a CPA designation or working towards one. • 3+ years’ experience as a Controller with a private company
• Payroll Accounting and process improvement experience
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and ability
• CPA designation preferred

• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, high level integrity, and professionalism
