• The Field Service Supervisor will oversee and manage field service operations for commercial office furniture installations and services.
• This role ensures projects are executed efficiently, safely, and to client specifications, while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
• The position requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and exceptional organizational skills.
• The role may require work outside for regular hours to manage installs.

About the DeliverablesTeam Leadership:

• Supervise and mentor field service teams, including installers and technicians.
• Assign tasks and manage daily schedules to ensure timely project completion.
• Provide on-site guidance and address any technical or logistical challenges.

Project Oversight:

• Review project plans, specifications, and schedules to prepare for installations.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure quality and compliance with company and client standards.
• Coordinate with project managers, designers, and clients to align field operations with project goals.

Customer Relations:

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients during installations.
• Address client concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
• Provide updates and feedback to project managers and clients regarding project progress.

Operational Management:

• Ensure proper handling, assembly, installation and staging of commercial furniture
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and workplace regulations.

Reporting and Documentation:

• Prepare and maintain detailed reports on project progress, team performance, and any incidents.
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving escalated issues and deficiencies.

About YouOur ideal candidate brings…

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in field service or installation of commercial office furniture.
• Supervisory or management experience is highly required.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, floorplans, and installation guides.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Familiarity with major commercial furniture systems (e.g., Steelcase, Teknion, Haworth, Knoll, MillerKnoll).
• Understanding of workplace safety standards and compliance requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites.
• Ability to lift and move heavy furniture components as required.
• Proficiency in project and construction management software such as Wrike, Procore, and MS Office suite.
