Location: Toronto, ON

Job Description: We are inviting a Treasury Analyst to join our team in Toronto, Ontario. This role is crucial to our industry, where you will be primarily involved in preparing financial reports, maintaining financial models, and supporting the Treasury team. This position offers a contract employment opportunity with an unspecified duration.Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly Net Interest Margin reports.
• Analyze variances and build additional reports to explain the performance of lending and investment portfolios.
• Develop, maintain, and improve financial models and spreadsheets for the budget and quarterly forecasts.
• Aid in the preparation of the annual budget and presentation of results.
• Update and maintain new metrics and reports to track the performance of specific programs.
• Provide peer review to senior team members, analyzing variances by volume and interest rate mix.
• Assist in analyzing the investment portfolio, executing transactions, and calculating short-term funding needs.
• Maintain strong relationships with partners and update quarterly and annual general loan loss provision calculations.
• Provide additional analysis to explain changes and support the Treasury team.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems.
• Experience with Banking software is essential.
• Familiarity with Bloomberg Terminal is desired.
• Proficiency in Concur is a plus.
• Strong ability in Data Processing.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Accounting Functions.
• Experience in Automated Clearing House (ACH) operations.
• Familiarity with Banking Operation.
• Understanding of Capital Management principles.
• Experience in Cash Activity management.
• Knowledge of Corporate Treasury procedures.
• Familiarity with Global Treasury operations.
