As the Team Lead, Paid Media for our marketing team, you’ll work with cutting-edge platforms and strategies to drive traffic, maximize revenue, and achieve business goals across all our business units. Your role will be pivotal in shaping our digital media buying strategies and ensuring our campaigns are effective and efficient.You’re a digital media buying maestro who gets a twinkle in your eye when you develop strategies based on data and your intuitive research. In this role, you’d be a strategic planner leading a small but mighty team in the paid media space with digital media buying, pay-per-click, programmatic, display advertising, Google Ad campaigns, and the management of ad network platforms such as Google Adwords, Meta, DV360, Amazon, Netflix and more.WHAT MOVES YOU

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Collaborate with the Manager, Web & Digital Performance to define the goals and objectives of our paid media campaigns.
- Lead and inspire a team of skilled digital media buyers & online advertising specialists, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Develop and execute comprehensive media buying strategies to drive traffic and maximize revenue for all business units.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of media campaigns across various channels, ensuring they align with business goals.
- Manage budgets and allocate resources to maximize ROI while closely monitoring campaign performance.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key media partners and platforms to enhance collaboration and negotiate favorable terms.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market changes to identify new opportunities.
- Provide performance reports, insights, and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders, showcasing the impact of media buying efforts.
- Propose digital marketing activities that support the achievement of sales, engagement, and member experience goals.
- Build out lead testing initiatives to continuously improve conversion rates.
- Collaborate with the Engagement Ecosystem team to ensure our digital marketing channels work holistically with our paid media campaigns.
- Collaborate with the SEO team to share keyword research and ensure organic and paid efforts are not cannibalizing our joint efforts.
- Collaborate with the digital performance & optimization team to ensure reporting and attribution are accurate.
WHAT YOU’VE DONE
- Ideally 6 years of applied and progressive experience in digital media buying, Google Adwords, Social Media platforms, DV360, Amazon network, data analysis, A/B Testing, optimization, landing page analysis, and more.
- 2 years prior lead or supervisory experience managing a tech-savvy team of 2 or more.
- Proven experience in media buying within several ad networks including Google Adwords, DV360, Amazon platform, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and others.
- Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, Meta Blueprint, Display Certifications are considered assets.
- A University degree or minimum of a College diploma in a related field such as Computer Science, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related experience.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
- Results-driven with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Some understanding of web analytics, conversion rate optimization, A/B Testing, funnel optimization, SEO, email marketing, channel reporting, and data analysis.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required to negotiate, convey abstract concepts, prepare briefing documents, and data analysis to stakeholders & marketing teams.
