Job Description: Job Title: Server AnalystLocation: Canada, RemoteSeniority on the skill/s required on this requirement: IntermediateEstimated Duration: 8 months with possible extension of another 6 monthsWork authorization: any (candidate must be authorized to work in CA)Job Summary:The Data Center Facilities Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the operational management and coordination of technology-related services within the Client core Data Centres, Client Correctional Facilities, and remote sites. This role ensures the efficient and secure operation of IT infrastructures, manages a team providing installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization services, and ensures alignment with organizational goals and compliance standards.Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee technology services related to client Data Centres, Correctional Facilities, and remote sites.
  • Implement and coordinate all IT facility services including WiFi management, equipment changes, and network optimization.
  • Maintain and manage rack, power, cooling systems, and network closet infrastructures to ensure maximum efficiency and performance.
  • Develop and implement disaster preparedness and regulatory compliance plans.
  • Lead and supervise teams in asset management, procurement, and documentation processes.
  • Provide consultation and troubleshooting support to clients and internal teams.
  • Coordinate maintenance schedules and ensure consistent service delivery.
  • Facilitate communication between all stakeholders to ensure seamless service and updates on operational status.
  • Proven experience in managing IT facility services, data centres, or similar infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of network optimization, power management, environmental control, and rack systems.
  • Ability to lead a team and manage cross-functional projects.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Understanding of disaster preparedness, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
  • Relevant certifications in IT management, infrastructure, or related fields are an asset.

Requirements:

  • Post-Secondary degree, diploma or certificate in Computer Science or related field of study.
  • Experience with datacenter Racks and cabinet management
  • Experience with data center Operations: HVAC, fire suppression, Power systems
  • Experience with written and verbal communications including specific experience in drafting strategic business and technical documentation.
  • IT infrastructure support and troubleshooting experience within a team environment – with staff, contractors and vendor teams.
  • Demonstrated experience with MS office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience using Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Experience with IT service management, IT service management applications, IT application development and maintenance projects.
  • Experience working in or for the public sector.
  • Experience working with correctional facility systems related to business processes and gathering requirements.
