Job Title: Sanitation Operator

Job Description: Savard is hiring a Sanitation Operator for work in/near Winnepeg, MB for Job #20382Job Scope:
Under limited supervision, perform sanitation duties throughout the facility using equipment such as shovel, vacuum, mop, broom, hose, etc.
Essential Job Functions:
Maintain safety and cleanliness of equipment and building.
General cleaning of equipment, walls, floors, etc. In an industrial setting.
Perform light maintenance tasks as needed.
Contributes to team effort to complete the assignedSanitationSchedule items. Maintains a neat and clean working area at all times.
Communicates effectively with the department operators.
Maintains close contact with the area supervisor, advising the supervisor of problems encountered.
Complete documentation of assigned sanitation tasks.
Perform duties in a safe manner, utilizing all approved safety equipment, and successfully completes all safety certification requirements.
Exhibit regular and prompt attendance and maintain attendance record in accordance with company policy.
May perform reasonably similar or related duties as assignedWork experience required
. Must have previous factory experience
Strong safety performance and value for safety.
Communicate effectively through speech and writing, strong attention to detail.Other Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
Protective Clothing Required: Hardhat, earplugs, safety glasses, safety-toed shoes, gloves, and other PPE as requiredPhysical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to fifty pounds, climb stairs and ladders, and occasionally work at elevated levels.Shifts/Hours:
Mon thru Fri
7: 00 am to 3: 30 pmPay:
$20/hr
