Job Title: Senior Credit Manager

Job Description: Lambert Nemec Group, the leading provider of Permanent Accounting & Finance Recruitment in Winnipeg, has collaborated with our client in Winnipeg to find a Credit Manag e r to join their vibrant team.The Credit Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the credit department while administering the daily credit and collection activities of the company.Responsibilities:

• Lead and train the Credit/Accounts Receivable team.
• Review new credit account applications, assess credit risk, and approve or decline creditaccounts in accordance with company policies and terms.
• Conduct credit investigations on existing customers to adjust credit limits based oncustomer requirements.
• Preparation of period end reports for management.
• Conduct collection activities while maintaining positive customer relationships.
• Prepare delinquent accounts for third-party collection, construction liens, and bad debtwrite-offs.
• Investigate and resolve customer disputes, working collaboratively with salespeople,management, and customers.
• Maintain close working relationships with Management and Sales teams to manage creditlimits.

Requirements:

• Minimum 8-10 years of credit/ accounts receivable management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in business administration or a relevant field (mandatory).
• CCP certification (preferred)
• Advanced proficiency in software applications, including MS Excel
• Experience with office management software systems such as AccPac, Dynamics-Great Plains, SAP, QuickBooks, Sage, or other ERP systems.
• Strong time management, multitasking, communication, and interpersonal skills, coupled with a high level of organizational ability.
