Role: The Human Resources Business Partner, reports to the Vice President, Human Resources and works closely with the HR Team and various internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate is passionate about providing HR support, promoting employee experience and leading various organization development initiatives and projects.Your Day with Equisoft:HR Support (Intervention Focus)

  • Act as ambassador of Equisoft’s employer brand by actively building and supporting the employee experience and promoting the values and culture of our organization
  • Influence by providing expertise and advice to managers and executives on performance management, career development, retention and succession planning
  • Innovate by keeping abreast of new trends in human resources management, in order to recommend and develop global solutions, programs and policies
  • Maintain excellent knowledge of legal standards and ensure compliance with all employment and labor laws

Organizational Development (Project Focus)

  • Conduct organizational assessments and analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement
  • Provide expert consultation to various stakeholders on organizational design, team effectiveness, and company culture
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of human resource practices and tools in collaboration with the HR team
  • Lead global projects and new initiatives on talent development, succession planning, and more, to support HR objectives aligned with the business goals
  • Design and facilitate workshops, training sessions, and coaching programs to enhance organizational capabilities
  • Develop and execute change management strategies for major organizational initiatives
  • Create communication plans to support organizational changes and ensure stakeholder engagement
  • Collaborate on various initiatives regarding employee experience to reinforce our employer brand

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Industrial Relations or related field
  • A minimum of 8+ years of experience in human resources in a similar role
  • Excellent working proficiency of French and English (spoken and written)
  • Excellent knowledge of labor legislations (mainly Canada, USA)
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite
  • Excellent facilitation, presentation, and consulting skills
  • Advanced project management capabilities
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Experience in the IT environment and in an international context (an asset)
  • Experience in the financial services or insurance industries (an asset)

Nice-to-haves

  • Human Resources Professional designation and certifications
  • Knowledge Spanish is an asset
  • Knowledge of Labor Laws of other countries in which Equisoft maintains operations
