NAIT’s Crane & Hoist Equipment Operator programs prepare students to operate any boom truck or mobile. As well as training them in advanced rigging practices for any load they may encounter as a crane operator. Crane & Hoist Equipment Operator programs at our Spruce Grove Campus is currently recruiting for a Program Assistant who is committed to student success, and have outstanding communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.The Program Assistant is often the first point of contact for prospective and returning students in the program. The Program Assistant responds to inquiries from students including admission requirements, course offerings, pre-requisites, enrolment procedures, tuition and program fees, academic and student service information, and is responsible for specific tasks within these areas.Key Responsibilities:Prepare office correspondence and data reports using Microsoft Office Suite, electronic mail system, and/or to program-specific software.Assist the program and the school in coordinating and completing projects.Provide administrative support for standing program and school meetings.Manage and maintain program records (electronic and paper)Create, review, and revise program materials; prepare reports and documents as requested.Support student selection and enrolment management strategies using Campus SolutionsAssist with annual tasks for compliance requirements for program accreditation.Plan and organize school and program-specific events.Maintain office equipment (printers and photocopier).Program/school responsibilities as assigned.General office and front desk duties.Skills & Abilities:Willingness to Learn: Embrace the opportunity to constantly expand your knowledge base through continuous learning and attend training sessions and workshops to enhance your skills.Adaptability: Be ready to pivot daily and take on new challenges with the team.Self-Starter: Demonstrate a proactive attitude and a strong sense of ownership. Advanced Microsoft Office Suite product knowledge is required.Effective Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrate the ability to analyze and solve complex challenges.Qualifications:Completion of Grade Twelve.Diploma in Business or Office Administration or other related discipline.Experience in an administrative role.Experience with PeopleSoft would be an asset.An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.Applicants with education credentials earned outside of Canada should have their credentials evaluated by World Education Services or the International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQAS).Remuneration: $44,256.94 – $57,140.72 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
