Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. May be the primary contact with clients.Your Key ResponsibilitiesConducts engineering/architecture/planning options comparisons by undertaking multi-factor assessments to select preferred cost-effective alternativesPrepares contract drawings and specifications in conjunction with the project team for delivery to the clientDocuments study progress/results through the preparation of memos, minutes, and reports as a record of eventsProvides direction to project team members and support staff through verbal and written instructions and assigns work to appropriate individuals.Liaises with clients to exchange information regarding project progressProvides technical judgmentConducts business development activities to secure new projects by client liaison and proposal preparationPrepares site visit reports by interpreting findings to give clear recommendations and direction to clientsReview shop drawings and design details by analyzing them for continuity and viabilityCertifies professional workWorks without detailed supervision. Receives broad guidelines, working within defined standards and specificationsExercises independent judgment in selecting and interpreting informationMay supervise staffQualificationsYour Capabilities and Credentials

• Ability to develop mechanical engineering drawings using AutoCAD and Revit

Education and ExperienceBachelors degree P. Eng4 to 6 years experienceTypical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time.
